Campus Outreach Minneapolis Summer Internships:

One of the project I’ve been working on this year is creating internships for our students.

They earn college credit while learning real-life workplace skills such as:

• marketing experience (how do we get the word out about what is happening with COM)
• communications experience (what communications channels can we use)
• new media experience (facebook, twitter, wordpress blogging)
• video experience (producing video clips and posting them on vimeo.com)
• finance experience (balancing and tracking a summer project budget)

I work one on one with each intern, preparing them with skills for after college that they can use in the workplace.

Team-

Two staff from Campus Outreach, Paul Poteat and Andrew Knight, two men that have discipled me over the years leave today for India to plan and setup the cross cultural project this summer.

About 15 students gathered to pray and send them off as they try and cultivate relationships with a school in either Delhi or Allahabad that would serve as a “in” for students to come and share Christ with the students.

The trip is to setup a place to stay, create and build relationships with school officials and plan activities for the students.

Last year a team when to Allahabad and partnered with a school. This year the goal is to find and partner with a school in Delhi.

Please pray:

• open hands for location – Delhi or Allahabad
• safety – the streets in Delhi are very dangerous
• relationships to be formed

the gospel would go forth and Indian Students would be equipped to share their faith with others
