We just got back from our first marriage retreat with our home church, Bethlehem Baptist. It was so rich with help, grace, and hope. Guest speaker, Paul Tripp, provided marriage saving perspective as well as an unbelievable sense of humor! U of M Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors & Staff
We just got home from our leader’s retreat! We had about 55 students from the U of M come together to talk about vision for how to love, serve, and come alongside the people on our campus. We get a glimpse of what it meant to be a disciple of Jesus after his death when his disciples set out on a mission to make this amazing gift of salvation through Christ known in the cities and contexts in which they were living. What an exciting time. Over 55 leaders, who will be leading at the beach project, and the cross cultural project, met to get equipped and training for their responsibilties this summer.
We took our students on a two hour bus tour through Minneapolis this past weekend. Everyone’s eyes were opened when we learned from CityVisionTC.org ‘s executive director John Mayer, as he explained some amazing facts and figures relating to Our Changing world and how we do ministry with the local church.
Some facts that blew me away:
